Nephin Renewable Gas (NRG) is a newly established renewable energy company located in Tipperary Town, in the heart of the Golden Vale.
NRG is led by a team of experienced RNG executives, focused on developing biomethane production at scale in Ireland. NRG’s management team have over 100 years of combined experience in the RNG/agri sector and have been directly involved in numerous RNG projects across Ireland, the UK and around the world.
We can offer energy users, both large and small, a secure and indigenous, low carbon solution to their heating, transport and electricity needs. And, for the agriculture sector, NRG offers a fully circular business model, reducing greenhouse gas emissions throughout the supply chain, and offering sustainable solutions for slurry, manure and nutrient management.
We are committed to working with farmers, local communities, Government, and other stakeholders to deliver a sustainable biomethane sector, which will help stimulate rural economies, support the decarbonisation of the Agriculture sector, and make a meaningful contribution to Ireland’s 5.7TWh biomethane target for 2030.
